ProctorTime Interview Capture and the ProctorTime interview console. Effective date: October 2026.
Who we are
ProctorTime is a product of COE Security LLC. This policy covers the ProctorTime Interview Capture browser extension and the ProctorTime interview console at app.proctortime.com.
What the extension does
The extension opens the interview console in its own window. When a signed-in interviewer starts an interview, the extension records the audio of the browser tab the interviewer chose, and sends it to the ProctorTime console for transcription and analysis. It records only while an interview is running, and it stops when the interviewer ends the interview.
What we collect
- Interview audio. The audio of the chosen meeting tab during an interview, which can include the candidate's voice.
- Transcripts and evaluations. Text produced from that audio, and the analysis based on it.
- Account details. The interviewer's name, username, and role, used to sign in and to record who did what.
The extension does not read the content of other tabs, does not record your screen, and does not track your browsing.
How we use it
We use this information only to run the interview, produce the transcript and the evaluation, and keep a record of the hiring steps. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train models for other customers.
Consent and notice
The organization that runs the interview is responsible for telling the candidate that the interview is recorded and analyzed, and for meeting the rules that apply where the candidate lives. ProctorTime asks the interviewer to confirm that notice before any recording starts.
Where it is stored and for how long
Data is stored on servers operated by ProctorTime. Each company sets how long interview data is kept, and can delete a candidate's records. Deleting a candidate removes the related audio, transcripts, and evaluations.
Your choices
You can stop a recording at any time with the End button, or remove the extension from your browser. To ask for access, correction, or deletion of data, contact us at the address below.
Security
Audio is sent to the ProctorTime server over an encrypted connection. Access is limited by role, and every change is recorded in an audit trail.

Changes
